Comedy Night @ The Roxy Lounge, our intimate lower-level venue tucked beneath The Roxy. With a smaller crowd, close-up seating and a full bar just steps away, it’s the perfect setting for a night of live stand-up comedy.

Tonight, featuring Comedian Tam White! Tam White is a stand-up comic and improv actor who studied at Second city and Go Comedy Improv Theatre. She’s the creator/producer/host of the hit improv game show 'Hip-Prov'  , seen in clubs and theaters throughout the Midwest . She’s Talent Director of the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival , 2025 Tedx Detroit Speaker and was mentioned in Hour Detroit Magazine as one of Mark Ridley's favorite local comics.. 

She has worked with SNL’s Tim Meadows and Jay Pharaoh, Pauly Shore , The Daily Show’s Al madrigal , Tony Roberts and many more.  When she’s not producing shows or performing, she’s teaching corporate improv and her ‘RHYMING IN IMPROV’  workshops. Her Open Bar comedy special “It’s About Tam Time”  is currently streaming on youtube.

Opener Micheal McDaniel Detroit-born and Second City-trained, Michael McDaniel has spent over a decade turning rooms full of strangers into rooms full of friends who can’t breathe from laughing. His sharp observational humor and spot-on celebrity impressions have packed houses from comedy clubs to corporate stages to church fundraisers — proving clean comedy hits just as hard. You’ve seen him on the big screen in Pawn Shop and on Comedy Central’s Detroiters, Out of My Mind and Still standup films, shared stages with the likes of Kevin Hart, Lewis Black, Mike Epps, and David Alan Grier. He’s also the author of UNSAFE: Divorcing Fear and The Joke Journal, proving he can make you laugh AND make you think — sometimes on the same page. Add in his work as a sought-after voiceover artist and event host, and it’s clear: Michael doesn’t just book a room — he owns it.

Each Comedy Night will feature a lineup of talented comedians bringing plenty of laughs, great energy and an anything-can-happen kind of night.
